November Newsletter
Dear Parents/Guardians,
First of all we would like to thank all of the parents who helped with the Halloween party. Thanks for having a great day for the kids! The children really enjoyed all the wonderful goodies, treats and crafts that you donated to make the party a success!
October was a busy month for us. We worked hard in all subject areas. Thank you for working so hard with your children at home on all the skills that we have been working on in class. It helps to have these lessons reinforced at home with Home Links, reading and skills practice.
In November we will be learning
Social Studies-citizenship, voting, then/ now, Pilgrims/Native Americans
Math – visual patterns, number patterns, counting, odd and even, money exchanges, time, measurement, basic addition and subtraction facts
Language Arts- factual descriptive writing, personal descriptive writing and continue to work on sight words and spelling routines.
