Thing 1 and Thing 2 ran the library on October 30th. Mrs. Ronholdt and Mrs. Sauers had to clean up their mess when they returned on the first Monday in November.

Library Corner,

We have been introducing EBSCO and Worldbook online to the students at Woodglen. These two Internet databases are available for your student to access at home and require only a user ID and a password. Look down at the bottom of this page to see the links to these databases that are provided through the district. Worldbook has a lot of new features. It will read the text to you or translate the text into a different language. Please take advantage of these great research aids. The user IDs and passwords were sent home on a bookmark from the library. Please tell your student to ask for another bookmark if a new one is needed.

Don’t forget the Scholastic Book Fair coming up in November during Parent Teacher Conferences and to have your students read at least 3 of the CCBA nominated books for 2010.

Don’t forget to have your students read three or more of the Colorado Children’s Book Award Nominees so that they can vote at the end of February. Find a complete list below.
